The Thruxton is Triumph's cafe racer built on the Bonneville parallel twin, bored out to 865 cc for roughly 7 hp more than the Bonneville. It adds low bars, rear-set footrests, a flyscreen, spoked wheels and twin-sided exhausts. For 2008 it was offered in black with gold stripe, red with white stripe or silver with red stripe.
